The tables in this section focus on summarizing your current finances. There are tables for:

  • Bank accounts
  • Investment accounts
  • Insurance
  • Non – financial assets
  • Debts
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Income
  • Expenses

As you are filling in your current information for each of these areas, you will probably notice that you might want to drop an account (“we don’t use that anymore”) or that both your names aren’t on an account (“we still need to make that change”). Whatever the change might be, turn to worksheets on pages 31 & 33 and jot down the changes you want to make. You can make the actual changes later, after you have finished summarizing your current situation, without running the risk of forgetting what changes you thought of doing.
